Kayak Clinics

For the novice or the first time Kayaker, Adrenaline Rush Nepal offers special beginner and learner clinics. Amidst our team of river guides, we have some veteran kayakers who will employ their many years of experience at their craft to train you in the ways of the kayak.

ImageA Kayak Clinic, normally covers four days and takes us to the quite waters of the Truisli and Seti Rivers, where we make the most of the quite waters and sandy beaches. We camp out at night under the stars, our kayaks resting next to the tents, while we sit around the camp fire sharing stories of your amazing experience on the river during the day. During the day time, your personal guide will be with you from suiting up and safety instruction to your first tentative moments on the water to your first attempt at rapids, right until the end of the trip when you will be able to skillfully and safely negotiate class 1 to 3 rapids.

We kit you out with all the gear you will need for the clinic, kayaks, safety equipment like helmets, throw ropes, life jackets, and if you are really nice to us we will even give you a paddle with which you can propel your boat down the river. Our trip will be a fully self sufficient camping trip where, tents, sleeping bags and mats as well as cooking equipment will be supplied for the journey. The guides will also work around the camp and prepare your meals, which are always hearty, hygienic and delicious.

You can rest assured, that during these clinics, your safety is our main priority; our guides are all expert kayakers with international experience and recognition as trainers. At all times they will be by your side, introducing you to the ways of the river and basic maneuvers like Eskimo rolls, paddling techniques, river rescue and river craft, which is all about learning how to read the river and being at one with it and your craft.

Our normal clinic covers four days, two days on the Seti River followed by two days on the Trusuli River before returning to either Pokhara or Kathmandu. The clinics are run during each season and we can cater for groups of two up to larger groups of up to 25 people.
