TREKKING, RAFTING, JUNGLE SAFARI, SIDE SEEING KATHMANDU, POKHARA Annapurna panorama trek (5 days) The trek to Ghorepani - Poon Hill (Pun Hill) which is located in Annapurna region is truly called as all the best of the trekking in Nepal. The trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages inhabited particularly by the Gurungs & Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys. All set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline. Seti River rafting (2 days) The Seti River is another classic Nepal River coming from the Himalaya, winding its way through forested canyons and twisted rock and sandstone formations. This river travels through Magar villages from where the famous Gurkha soldiers hail. The Seti Khola is a relaxing river with a lot of high action rapids. It offers great chances for swimming and wildlife spotting, making it highly suitable for families and first time rafters and Kayakers. It is one of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in Nepal. You can raft this river in combination with a trip to Chitwan or Pokhara. Chitwan jungle safari (3 days) Not only does Nepal offer glorious mountain trekking and raging river rafting, but it also has a fine selection of pristine National Parks. A Jungle Safari in Nepal can be a very exciting experience. You can trek into the jungle by foot with an experienced tracker, by elephant back, by dugout canoe or by jeep. A safari in Nepal is a fun filled package ideal for anyone. The National Parks offer a range of accommodations form lush resorts to basic tent style camping. The resorts make a package for you that includes everything from your sleeping arrangements to meals to days full of stimulating activities. Many people choose to finish off a rafting or trekking trip with a relaxing time in the jungle. The most famous and Nepal’s first National Park, Chitwan, a ‘World Heritage Nature Site’ declared by UNESCO is situated in the central development region covering an area of 932 sq km. Royal Chitwan National Park is the home to more than 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers. This is also the home to around 600 plant species, 50 mammals, 526 birds and 49 amphibians and reptiles. For jungle safari Royal Chitwan National park is famous, and is also considered as one of the best conservation areas in Asia. By jeep or elephant back, you can go deep into the heart of the park, viewing some of the rare species of flora and fauna. You can also go on foot in to the park escorted by our well-trained naturalist who will interpret to you the concealed secrets of the jungle, protect your from tiger attacks and instruct you on how to act when charged by a Rhino. For those with an affection for birds then Chitwan is a marvelous place to see rare species of birds including water fowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants, woodpeckers, hornbills, peacocks, peahens, floricans, red-headed trogons and many others. Another activity in the park is the boat/canoe trip down the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. This is one of the more serene ways to explore the area as float downstream with the river’s flow. On a river journey your can spot small and large crocodiles and fresh water dolphins, but we don’t recommend dangling your fingers or toes in the water! On the out skirts of Chitwan you can the Tharu community, and see their artistically decorated thatched huts, their typical dance and how they manage life next to the national park. A Chitwan jungle safari is certainly an adventure that the whole family can enjoy. Detailed Itinerary Day 1 Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. B.B. Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara - 5-6 hours scenic drive by Private Car / bus. Overnight at hotel. B.B. Day 3 One hour drive to Nayapul by private Car / bus, we then begin trek to Tikhedhunga we reach Birethanti (1065m). The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m & after the short climb. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D. Day 4 Trek to Ghorepani, Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards to Ghorepani at 2775m., Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D. Day 5 One of the important highlight of this trip is to make a climb on Poon Hill. When sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks; there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye couldn’t believe. Besides during journey, you are rewarded by the natural beauties in your each & every footsteps. Down poon hill heading to tadapani .B.L.D Day 6 The day starts with short down hill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk (2000m), which are the village of Gurung people. One of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D. Day 7 Today we begin our journey from Ghandrung offering easy walking all down hill to Nayapul, we then drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel. B & B. Day 8 Pokhara stay for the rest pre departure meeting for seti rafting,B.B Day 9 We met 6:30 am at office and drive one hour drive to starting point for rafting we will give you fully safety talk than float. We have lunch on the way flow down again to get to the camp there.B.L.D Day 10 Next day after break fast we flow down rafting again. Then drive to chitwan national park at our hotel and stay at hotel B.L.D Day 11 Wake up call, tea break fast elephant ride canoeing, elephant breeding centre visit, elephant bath, tharu culture dance at dinner time Overnight at hotel. B.L.D. Day 12 Wake up call tea coffee bird watching break fast departure 9:30. Drive back to Kathmandu by private car / bus. Overnight at hotel. B.L.D Day 13 Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhu, and Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel.
