The origins of this roaring wall of white water give it it’s name, Bhote meaning from Tibet and Koshi meaning river, Bhote Koshi, the river that hails from Tibet. The path of this river is the steepest in Nepal creating a virtual year round torrent that provides some of the most exciting rafting in the world. The river is fed by the melting snows and glaciers of Mount Shisa Pangma, the worlds tenth highest mountain and creates one of the most dramatic and furious rivers to carve its way through Nepal’s mountains and rolling Himalayan foothills.
Not so far from Kathmandu, this is a short but very very sweet trip that’s packed full of fun, action and endless white water. With Rapids the likes of “Frog in the Blender” what more do you want form a river? The trip finishes near to the Last Resort, home to Bungyi jumping, Canyoning and the Canyon Swing, this gives you the chance to round out your rafting adventure with other activities that are going to keep the adrenalin flowing and your heart pounding. This certainly isn’t the rafting trip for the faint hearted, but if you are into intense physical activity, fun and non stop heart pounding action, then you should seriously consider this trip as the white water challenge for you, be it in raft or a kayak. RAFTING Thrill a second wild ride at your own risk. A serious introduction to getting your pants thrashed by white water for the novice paddlers or one hell of a wild, fast and nasty ride for experienced rafters. A great time will be at by all…………at your own risk! KAYAKING Defiantly one for the experienced kayaker who doesn’t mind going for a swim without his boat. An endless series of rapids designed by nature to challenge and test your courage and paddling skills. If you have the experience and you’re a bit crazy you will love this wild ride and come back for more and more and more.

We take lunch and set up the rafts at which point your guides will issue you with the standard rafting equipment, a paddle, a helmet and a life jacket. We then head to the river for our safety briefing. Listen carefully for instruction and how to act upon the guide’s commands, not falling out of the raft and having a good time. Of course we will also tell you what to do in the likely event of you falling out of the raft. We have one very wild afternoon of rafting before pulling out making camp and finally letting out a deep breath over some rafters rum punch.
