What to Expect

Rafting NepalFor a first timer, heading out on a river trip into the wilderness of Nepal can be a bit daunting. You should prepare for camping condition and normally total isolation form the commercial world. Don’t expect to find hotels, bars and shops along the way. What we bring along with us will be all we have, tents, sleeping bags and mats, rafts and kitchen equipment. All the food will be cooked by the rafting team and of course will be safe, hygienic, tasty and nutritious as well as plenty of it.

As for what to except in the course of a day, the first day is normally taken up with bus travel to our staring point, depending on which river we are rafting. Lunch will be taken and we will begin rafting the river after issuing you with safety instruction and basic river knowledge. In one day we will spend up to six hours in the raft, the rest of the time is spent on the river banks at the lunch spot or our camping spot, normally camps are made on sandy un spoilt beaches. We will erect the camp, kitchen and toilet facilities, you can feel free to help us out, it’s certainly appreciated by the guides after a long day guiding you safely down the river.

Around the camps you can feel free to explore the river banks and nearby villages on foot, or just relax around the camp fire.
