One of Nepal’s most popular rivers, the Trishuli has something to offer for everyone, from the most experienced kayaker to the first time rafter. Its an ideal year round river just a stones throw away from Kathmandu. A trip on the Trishuli will quench the white water desire of travelers with limited time in Nepal. The Trishuli meanders its way through scenic gorges and impressive valleys on its way to the plains. This world Class river is often compared to rivers in Colorado and the Grand Canyon. A rafting or Kayaking trip down the Trishuli is a great experience for any traveler to Nepal.
Though this river can be rafted most times of the year, during monsoon it transforms itself into a swollen torrent of raging white water. It creates exciting and heart pounding adventure when the river is running high and wild. It is surely a trip not to be missed. Outside the monsoon this river is also highly suited for rafting with families and is ideal for first time rafters.
RAFTING Another mild river for the first time paddlers who wants to get a taste of the real white water experience. There are some big and bouncy rapids that are challenging and fun but very safe. Its an ideal trip for families and first timers or those a bit nervous in white water. You can continue rafting down to Chitwan for a jungle safari.
KAYAKING A fantastic first timer river or warm up river for those going on too the bigger rivers in Nepal. Plenty of small rapids and some more challenging ones. This river is ideal for the first time kayaker and we also do some clinics here. Though it should be noted in the monsoon its defiantly not a river for the faint of heart or less skilled.
