Great for family trips or those looking for a calmer rafting trip combined with excellent scenery. The lower Seti winds its way from Pokhara down to Chitwan far from the road. This two day trip is another classic Nepal river springing from the Himalaya before winding its way through forested canyons and twisted rock and sandstone formations. This river travels through Magar villages from where the famous Gurkha soldiers hail.

It offers great chances for swimming and wildlife spotting, making it highly suitable for families and first time rafters and kayakers. You can raft this river in combination with a trip to Chitwan or back to Pokhara.

RAFTING
While the river rages in the monsoon, for the rest of the year it’s a friendly safe and fun rafting trip. It’s a fantastic rafting trip for first timers, families and those who don’t have so much time. The river is easy but still provides a little action with its rapids.

ITINERARY
Day 01: We depart early by bus from Pokhara to the start point of our rafting trip. We get the rafts ready as you get on your rafting gear. After a complete safety talk we are on the water. We begin our rafting on this scenic river. During the day we find a beautiful beach to stop for lunch. As our guides prepare lunch you can enjoy resting on a quiet beach and take in a little sun. Then we head back to the river for some small rapids and great scenery. We continue on rafting before landing the boats at a secluded beach and making our camp. It is time to change into some dry clothes and enjoy a great dinner while talking about the day.

Day 02: Today we continue to enjoy the beautiful scenery and an excellent grade 3 rapid. We raft and play during the day until we reach Ghai Ghat, the take out point. Here you will enjoy a nice lunch before saying goodbye to your experienced guides and continuing your travels in Nepal.
