Panch Pokhari means five lakes, and is found in the Lantang National Park, the area contains a surprising amount of forests and wildlife. From this area you can gain really good views of Jugal Himal which is popularly known as “the chain of peaks” including Dorge Lakpa (6966m), Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6637m). Panch pokhari trekking offers an ideal and interesting journey which gives the trekker a good rounded experience of trekking in the Nepal Himalayas. Panch Pokhari is a religious place for Hindus where the trekkers can see a sheet metal enclosed shrine to Shiva and the two metal roofed houses. A trek in this area involves a lot of climbing on narrow trails.
